Marubozu – Single Candlestick Pattern
The Bald Candlestick – Marubozu
The word ‘Marubozu’ means “Bald” in Japanese. There are two types of Marubozu – Bullish Marubozu and Bearish Marubozu. A Marubuzo candlestick has just the real body without upper and lower shadows (therefore appearing bald) as shown below:
A Marubozu can appear anywhere in the chart irrespective of the prior trend.
